Laughlin, NV (March 11, 2022) – Nevada State Police are investigating a deadly crash that happened in Laughlin on Wednesday, March 9.

According to NSP troopers, a driver passing on State Route 163, just east of mile marker 14, notified troopers of a possible body in the dirt shoulder. Once troopers arrived and investigated the area, they determined the victim has been hit and critically injured by a driver.

The victim was reportedly walking west in the right travel lane when an unknown vehicle struck them and then fled the scene. They died from their injuries shortly thereafter and were pronounced dead at the scene by medics.

No other details have been released, and troopers are still searching for the suspect driver. The NSP asked any witnesses with information to contact them.
