On Sunday at around 12:00 p.m. local time, per the Federal Aviation Administration, a Piper PA-46 was prepared to land when it crashed with a Cessna 172. The FAA stated the Piper crashed into a field east of Runway 30-Right, while the Cessna landed in a water retention pond.
The Clark County Department of Aviation reported in a statement that each aircraft had two persons on board, but there were no survivors. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are conducting an investigation into the crash’s cause.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the surviving family members of the deceased victims.
