North Las Vegas, NV (July 17, 2022) – On Sunday afternoon, July 17, two general aviation aircraft collided at North Las Vegas Airport, killing all four passengers on board, according to aviation authorities.

On Sunday at around 12:00 p.m. local time, per the Federal Aviation Administration, a Piper PA-46 was prepared to land when it crashed with a Cessna 172. The FAA stated the Piper crashed into a field east of Runway 30-Right, while the Cessna landed in a water retention pond.

The Clark County Department of Aviation reported in a statement that each aircraft had two persons on board, but there were no survivors. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are conducting an investigation into the crash’s cause.
