North Las Vegas, NV (December 16, 2021) – A major vehicle accident reported in the Northern Las Vegas area on Thursday evening, December 16, resulted in multiple injuries and closed down a roadway for several hours.

At around 8:30 p.m., officers with the North Las Vegas Police Department, along with emergency medical services, responded to the scene of the accident. According to the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, the incident occurred on Lake Mead Boulevard at Christy Lane and had all lanes blocked.

Officers say injuries occurred and EMS units were on the scene to transport victims, though their current conditions are unknown. Police added that their investigation is still active at this time.
