North Las Vegas, NV – One Dead, Driver Arrested in Two-Car Collision at Deer Springs Way & Gliding Eagle St
North Las Vegas, NV (July 5, 2022) – On Monday afternoon, July 4, a two-vehicle crash in North Las Vegas killed one person.
After slamming into another car with two people and killing one, an 18-year-old now faces two charges, one of which is a felony for reckless driving. A preliminary investigation indicates that two vehicles collided at the crossing. One vehicle was heading north, carrying two women in their 20s. The second car was heading westbound at an excessive rate of speed, driven by the 18-year-old man.
Following the crash, the passengers and drivers in both vehicles were transferred to UMC. The female passenger of the northbound car was declared deceased at the hospital, while the other driver is still hospitalized. However, an inquiry is still ongoing, and no new information was supplied.
