North Las Vegas, NV (December 13, 2021) – An auto accident reported in the Northern Las Vegas area on Monday morning, December 13, resulted in an unknown number of injuries.

At around 10:15 a.m., officers with the North Las Vegas Police Department, along with emergency medical services, responded to the scene of the accident. Officers say the incident occurred on the 215 Southern Beltway at exit 12 to Interstate 15.

NLVPD’s initial reports indicated that the collision involved two passenger vehicles that collided in an apparent rear-end wreck in the westbound lanes of the highway.

Paramedics took at least one person to a local medical center, though the total number of injured victims and the extent of their injuries remain unclear. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the police at this time. They plan to release further information in the coming days.
