Officers from the North Las Vegas Police Department, as well as emergency medical services, arrived at the collision scene at approximately 11:30 a.m. Police said the incident happened between Exit 14 and Jones Boulevard on the 215 Southern Beltway.

Two passenger vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of the highway, according to initial reports from the NLVPD. However, the reason for the serious accident remains unknown.
