Paradise, NV (July 2, 2022) – On July 2, Saturday evening, the Paradise Police Department responded to a tractor-trailer collision that injured at least one individual.
The whole route was closed because of an accident that occurred at the junction of Tropicana Avenue and Broadbent Boulevard at around 8:55 p.m. in the evening. In order to determine the extent of the injuries sustained by the victims, emergency medical services units and paramedics from Paradise were sent to the location, which resulted in a traffic jam that lasted for more than an hour.
It has been reported that the PPD and other first responders who were there at the site do not yet know what caused the accident or the extent of the injuries that were suffered. Despite the fact that the official investigation into the factors that led to today’s traffic accident is still ongoing, there has been no new or additional information that has come to light.
We hope that all of the victims of today’s event recover completely.
Injuries From Truck Accidents in the Paradise Region
In the Las Vegas metropolitan region, the frequency of accidents involving tractor-trailers and other large, heavy commercial vehicles is increasing. As a result, the Nevada Department of Transportation received over 47,000 reports relating to such significant accidents in the preceding year. In fact, for the first time in the history of the state, trucks were responsible for at least 13% of all traffic-related fatalities.
Due to Nevada’s wide network of interstates and main thoroughfares, serious truck collisions are prevalent in the state. This sad traffic trend indicates that more than 4,000 people have been killed in tractor-trailer accidents in Nevada during the last ten years. Carson City and the surrounding vicinity are served by US Route 93, Interstate 15, and Highway 95, which runs via the capital, Reno, Las Vegas, and beyond. These three routes are impacted, in addition to other key thoroughfares on which Nevadans often travel. Obviously, victims confront an elevated danger on these roads and particularly following a disastrous collision. Luckily, the truck accident lawyers at Eric Roy Law Firm in Las Vegas are here to assist clients who have been injured in a truck collision.
