Semi-Trailer Truck Accidents in the Winchester Area

Winchester, NV - Victims Hurt in Semi-Truck Accident on US 95 at Boulder HwyIf you often visit Las Vegas and the suburbs nearby, you are undoubtedly used to sharing the roadways with large commercial vehicles. On the other hand, despite the fact that these oversized vehicles are largely ubiquitous and part of our everyday commutes, colliding with one of these cars may be fatal. The magnitude and force of a collision between one r more massive trucks may cause significant property damage, severe injuries to drivers and passengers, as well as fatalities and serious injuries.

What’s more, those involved in such serious incidents may find themselves and their finances truly choked by medical expenses and lost pay. It goes without saying that if you were a passenger in a vehicle that collided with a tractor-trailer or commercial truck, the accident might be devastating in a number of ways.

Furthermore, pursuing these claims could be difficult since commercial and transportation companies might be hesitant to pay for the negligence or other misconduct of contracted drivers. Needless to say, drivers must approach or follow such vehicles very carefully to avoid these major collisions. Still, tractor-trailer accidents occur fairly frequently, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and were responsible for around 10% of deaths in Nevada in a single year. Furthermore, truck drivers need a lot of space on the road to stop or turn, which, when they’re unable to negotiate highways, causes significant, catastrophic accidents.
