Las Vegas, NV (June 2, 2022) – Stephen Wayne Palmatier Jr., of Las Vegas, has been identified as the man killed in a hit-and-run incident in the northwest valley on Wednesday, June 1.
Palmatier, 37, was a passenger in a 2021 Volkswagen that was at a light and stopped at the intersection of Shaumber Road and West Centennial Parkway. Additionally, his wife and two children were in the vehicle.

He passed away at the site of the incident. Police identified the Jeep’s driver as Lisa Geurino, 38, of Las Vegas. She is charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, and failure to stop at the site of an accident.
We want to extend our deepest condolences to the victim’s family. The accident’s wounded victims are in our thoughts, and we wish them a speedy recovery.
