Las Vegas, NV – US 95 Site of Injury Auto Accident at Las Vegas Blvd
Las Vegas, NV (June 20, 2022) – On the morning of June 20, Monday, a vehicle collision in the broader Las Vegas area injured an unknown number of people.
Around 11:40 a.m. on Monday, an injury-causing incident occurred on southbound US Highway 95 near Exit 75 to Las Vegas Boulevard. Officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, as well as firefighters and emergency medical personnel, were sent to the scene. According to the LVMPD, the multi-vehicle collision essentially shut down all left lanes on the southbound side of the interstate, causing stop-and-go traffic back to I-15.
At least one of the passengers was sent to a local hospital for treatment. The actual number of those injured, as well as the severity of their injuries, have yet to be established and made public. As part of their investigation, police are working to determine the actual reason for the crash.
