Las Vegas, NV (May 1, 2022) – Las Vegas Metro Police Department officers say that a collision involving a hit-and-run driver occurred on Sunday afternoon, May 1, leaving at least one person with injuries.

Police and other first responders were dispatched to the scene at St. Rose Parkway and Amigo Street around 1:15 p.m. Early indications from the LVMPD are that the collision involved at least two motorists, with one driver leaving the scene after the incident.

Medics reportedly took one person to a local hospital, where they underwent further treatment for their injuries. The number of victims and the extent of their injuries remain unclear, however.

Authorities have not released a description of the suspect driver or their car, and the investigation remains active at this time.
